Sangria Sunset | Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil Highlighter Duo

hello!

As promised from yesterday, here's my second look using the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil - Mimosa Sunrise / Sangria Sunset!

I have officially concluded that there's nothing from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna that would work wonders! I'm really not exaggerating. The colors on the palette looked bold and bright, the kind of colors that you just can't seem to fathom how it would work on a daily grind girl, right?

Prior to trying them out on my face, I did a little research to check out how instagrammers recreate the sunkissed look by Rihanna, some were really in your face (two stripes of orange and pink across the cheeks) and some were a little underwhelming (can't really tell the true effect on the products on their faces). So when I was recreating the look, I made a conscious effort to be contemporary with the application.

Eyes

Step 1: Apply Mimosa Sunrise all over the eyelids. It's really blendable, so go ahead and sweep it up to your brow bones as a highlight as well.

Step 2: Apply Sangria Sunset along the eyelashes. Fleek it out towards the outer corners of your eyes. Blend upwards above your double eyelid or wherever visible when you open your eyes.

Step 3: Apply Sangria Sunset along your lower eyelids for the dreamy effect!

Cheeks

Step 1: Apply Mimosa Sunrise as your highlighter.

Step 2: Apply Sangria Sunset as your blush. I thought it was gonna be too shimmery on my cheeks (since I have large pores) but I thought it looked okay. 💫
