Memory Lane | First Dates

Once in a while, Jasper and I would go on dates to keep things fresh and somewhat different from our everyday life. To me, it's a reminder that we cannot take people/things for granted and should make effort to keep the relationship strong.

I met him at Bugis since he had to make a trip to his office to settle work stuff and had steamboat for dinner. Had Cupid's Truffle from Baskin Robbins for dessert and it's AWESOME. You should try it. 

We also went to Statelander, a new cafe at 30 Bali Lane to support his friend. I have to say that their Belgian Waffle is really good. (having tried quite a few places for a waffle-maniac like me) Jasper had Egg Benedict and I was in love with the mushroom. :P (i'm not a food blogger and therefore can't find the right words to describe how it taste like in my mouth. just know that it's worth it.)

Usually when we're out, I don't particularly have any specific places I wanna go and Jasper would usually decide on somewhere and I'll follow. (i'm pretty much the follower in this case) So we went to Gardens By the Bay (not sure if it's Bay East or South), but it's where we went during our first valentine's date last year.
